The short practicum was a shock to the system. It was a busier semester than I had ever had at SFU. Also my SA had to go on leave during the time, due to family reasons and so as I tried to let everyone know I was strong enough, at times I felt like giving up. Lucky for me, the people I met along the way were amazing lifesavers! The colleagues in the school stepped up and offerered support and the friends I made in my module really got me through. The people in education have really verified my belief that the teaching profession is the place where I need to be.
