It's just as weird for us!

Remember when you were young and you ran into your teacher at the grocery store and thought to yourself, "They have lives?!"' ;)

I still live in the city I grew up in, so I see my high school teachers at the grocery store occasionally. IT'S STILL WEIRD! I never know whether to say something or not. Teachers (especially high school) see so many students over the years and I don't really think I was a memorable student. I was a good student. I did my work, A/B average, kept quiet, and never stirred up any trouble (the trouble makers are the memorable ones).

Anyways, the real point of this post was to let you know that I got to be on the other side of this interaction recently! I went to the public pool with a few friends and a baby. Little did I know, it was the ONE night in the month where it is free to swim AND the students from my practicum school were all hosting exchange students from Quebec....what better to do than go free swimming?!

Really?! I had to run into students while in my bathing suit? Oh well... A least one of the students did a backflip for me!

Oh, how I love my students! :)
